MEET COURTNEY BOYD MYERS:
Courtney is the founder and CEO of AKUA (AH-Ku-AH) - a sustainable food company making seagreens mainstream. She started her career as a journalist writing about robots at Forbes Magazine, then created a marketing agency based between London and Berlin and worked with dozens of tech startups to help them scale as a plug-in CMO. She then moved back to the states to become the Global Community Director of Summit, hosting events like Summit at Sea and Summit DTLA. Within the Summit community, she met dozens of other incredible entrepreneurs working across health and wellness and food and beverage, and decided she wanted to create an eco-conscious business that would create food that’s as healthy for you as it is for the planet.
